All of these are packaged in a prime location just minutes from the beaches, shopping, the arts, sports and top medical and educational facilities. With all of this to offer, it is little wonder that the Lee Building Industry Association selected Grandézza as the site for the 2005 Parade of Homes, one of Lee County’s most prestigious events. The annual event displays the latest residential trends in the Southwest Florida market, including architectural innovations, building technologies, interior merchandising trends, and landscape designs. Up to 10 new beautifully furnished models, some priced at upwards of $1 million, will be on display February 4-13, 2005.
Even more exciting is the upcoming construction and sale of the Kid’s Klub House. Stock Construction and its vendors are building a special home at Grandézza as a charity fundraiser. It will then be sold with all proceeds from the sale going towards the Boys & Girls Club of Lee County and the Lee Building Industry Association. The home will be furnished by several of the areas’ top interior designers, including Expressions in Design, Denmark Interiors, East Indies and Pizzazz Interiors. It will also be decorated for the holidays and then opened to the public for a special December viewing. Among Grandézza’s finest features is the Darwin Sharp III-designed championship course, featuring five sets of tees to challenge all players. Conquer the Devil’s Backbone and Mission Impossible within a course accentuated with native, towering pine trees, and a habitat that is home to deer and many species of birds. The 18-hole championship course is as scenic as it is challenging., as rolling fairways lined with woods and dotted with ball catching bunkers offer scene-scapes of lakes and streams. “This course makes you hit all your shots, which is great,” said PGA Tour standout Peter Jacobsen. “ It’s a fun, beautiful course that has a tranquil setting.” Residents will relish fine dining in their elegant 53,000-square-foot clubhouse. The Club features luxuriously appointed men’s and women’s locker rooms and a spacious pro shop. The 2,500-square-foot lakefront pool is situated in the rear of the clubhouse and offers views down the ninth and 18th fairways of the championship golf course. This resort-style pool is surrounded by a 5,000-square-foot furnished sun deck and features a stunning new Copacabana poolside bar. On either side of the lap lanes are wading areas extending beyond the lap area. Just steps from the clubhouse and pool, the top-flight tennis facility offers six lakefront, Har-Tru tennis courts.
An Enhanced Social Membership also includes use of the tennis and fitness facilities. Perhaps what distinguishes these memberships is there are no initiation fees, only annual dues apply. Grandézza’s golf memberships are limited to $40,000 and a select 400 members. Ask about special builder incentives. All residents receive a Social Membership for fine dining and socializing. Tucked within Grandézza’s pristine 550 acres are a variety of spacious homes in meticulously crafted neighborhoods. Home prices range from the $200’s to $1.5 million. Discriminating homebuyers have responded and made Grandézza one of Southwest Florida’s success stories with nearly 250 sales registered in the first nine months of 2004. This season’s new neighborhoods and models are on offer. The Parade of Homes will introduce more spectacularly furnished models by a variety of the finest luxury homebuilders. Stock Construction has also unveiled Savona, a neighborhood of villa homes with a private entry off Corkscrew road, and Solemar, a new enclave of single-family homes. Also being unveiled this season is Trevi, a new neighborhood of luxurious coach homes and villas by Stock Construction.
The Miromar Outlets offers more than 100 different stores and restaurants. For the sports enthusiast, there is Germain Arena, home of the Florida Everblades hockey team and the site of a variety of concerts, shows and community events. Grandézza is also just minutes from Florida’s 10th university, Florida Gulf Coast University, which offers a variety of educational opportunities. Even closer to home, a shopping plaza with a bank, retail shops and anchored by a Publix supermarket offers added convenience. Grandézza is located in the center of it all in Estero, off Ben Hill Griffin Parkway, a half-mile north of Corkscrew Road (Exit 123 off Interstate 75).
